This tool uses the tropical zodiac and geocentric apparent longitudes for ten bodies from the Sun to Pluto. It interpolates daily Swiss Ephemeris tables. With a birth time, it calculates Placidus houses, using Porphyry where Placidus is unavailable at high latitudes.
Local times use IANA 2026d rules. A time skipped by a clock change is rejected. If the clock repeated a time, choose the earlier or later UTC occurrence from the record. Before 1970, historical rules may be incomplete and a city's representative clock may not match the original record.
Conjunction and opposition use an 8° orb, square and trine 7°, and sextile 4°. Sun or Moon contacts add 2° for conjunction and opposition, and 1° for the other angles. Contacts to the Ascendant or Midheaven are capped at 5°. Aspects between those two axes are omitted.
Japanese locations use city-office representative points from MLIT's 2022 P05 dataset. Overseas locations use the representative coordinates in IANA 2026d zone.tab. A nearby listed city gives an approximate location rather than a building-level chart.
